Edgar Cepuritis

Executive Director

Edgar Cepuritis is currently the Vice President of Development for Café Zupas, a UT based fast
casual restaurant concept specializing in house made Soups, Salads and Sandwiches. In his 5
years with Café Zupas, Edgar has led the development team to new store growth of greater than 20% annually. Prior to joining Café Zupas Edgar has led national development programs for Potbelly Sandwich Works, Noodles & Co. as well as holding Senior Real Estate positions with Boston Market/Einstein Bagels and Kinkos. Edgar’s experience in national real estate growth programs has taken him to almost every state in the country in his 28 years in the industry. Edgar is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Regional Development and resides in Chicago’s North Shore with his wife Chanda and two children, Turner and Reilly.

Jim Sofranko

Jim Sofranko has spent the last thirty years at the intersection of sports, entertainment and technology. For the  first twenty years of his career Jim was responsible for revenue and marketing for the Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Team. Jim joined Groupon in 2009 and has helped with the rapid growth of the brand in North America. Groupon become the fastest company ever to reach $1B in revenue. Jim currently oversees Groupon’s relationships with the largest partners in the Live and Attractions space.
 Jim is a graduate of Iowa State University and resides in Chicago’s North Shore with his wife Monica and two kids William and Ava.
